Your tasks
At Acket, we’re looking for an offset printer. If you don’t yet have any experience as an offset printer but would like to learn the trade, you’re still very welcome to apply! We’d be happy to train you to become an experienced offset printer.
As an Offset Printer, you will be responsible for the entire production process on our Heidelberg offset presses. You will ensure that high-quality printed matter is produced and oversee the entire process from start to finish.
You will set up the machines, reconfigure them and ensure they are correctly adjusted. You will also carry out quality checks, record and document production data, and identify any deviations or malfunctions. You will work closely with your team, the technical department and the Print Shop Manager to ensure the production process runs as smoothly as possible.
The duties associated with this role include:
- Setting up, configuring and operating Heidelberg offset presses.
- Monitoring the production process and the quality of the printed material.
- Carrying out quality checks.
- Recording and documenting production data.
- Identifying and reporting faults and deviations.
- Working alongside colleagues.
Jour profile
- You enjoy working with technology and machinery.
- You work independently, with attention to detail, and are a hands-on person.
- You are flexible, results-oriented and can cope well with busy periods.
- No experience is required; apprentices and career changers are also very welcome.
- You have a good command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken.
What we offer
- The position is classified in accordance with the Grafimedia Collective Labour agreement, with a corresponding salary ranging from € 2.260,- to € 3.159,- gross every 4 weeks for a 36-hour working week, depending on your knowledge and experience.
- Under the current three-shift schedule, you will receive a 24.08% shift allowance on top of your salary.
- In period 5, you will receive an 8% holiday pay allowance.
- You are entitled to 25 days of annual leave on a full-time basis.
- We’ll start with a fixed-term contract, with the prospect of a permanent contract.
