Die-Cutting Machine Operator

Your tasks

At Acket, we’re looking for a Die-Cutting Operator. Don’t have any experience as an operator yet, or would you like to learn the trade? You’re still very welcome to apply! We’d be happy to train you to become an experienced Die-Cutting Operator.

In our Die-Cutting Department, printed cardboard sheets are die-cut to the correct shape. As a Die-Cutting Operator, you will be responsible for the production process on our BOBST (separating) die-cutting machines. You will set up the machine for new production runs, adjust it with precision and monitor the quality of the end product.

The tasks associated with your role include:

  • Operating, reconfiguring and adjusting the die-cutting machine.
  • Recording production data.
  • Carrying out quality checks on the die-cut sheets.
  • Checking the cutting and creasing lines and adjusting the machine where necessary.
  • Identifying and resolving minor faults.

Your profile

  • You have technical insight or are keen to learn.
  • No experience is required; apprentices and career changers are also very welcome.
  • You work meticulously and have an eye for quality.
  • You take the initiative and are keen to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
  • You have a good command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken.

What we offer

  • The role is classified under the Kartoflex collective labour agreement, with a corresponding salary ranging from € 2.198,- to € 3.148,- gross every 4 weeks for a 36-hour working week, depending on your knowledge and experience.
  • As you will be working a three-shift rota, you will receive a 20% shift allowance on top of your salary.
  • In period 5, you will receive an 8% holiday pay allowance.
  • You are entitled to 25 days’ holiday and, due to the shift rota, one additional day’s holiday on a full-time basis.
  • We’ll start with a fixed-term contract, with the prospect of a permanent contract.
