Babytown box

description

The structure of the packaging is characterised by a simple bottom/lid principle. No gluing is used. When the carton is opened an extra dimension becomes visible, as the box reveals itself as a completely new presentation. The back of the cardboard is used as the outside of the box, to get a special satin effect.

Use of colour and illustration appeals to the perception of the parents-to-be on cloud nine. Babytown is a virtual city for babies and their parents. It is the city of the past, the present and the future. A mix of fantasy and reality. Opening the packaging is a surprise in itself. The folding and cutting construction lines have been specifically used in the graphic design. The concealment of the floral pattern and the proportions that have been used arouse a special curiosity.
